Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the price of unleaded 98-octane petrol.
As of Friday 14 August 2026, the price of unleaded 98-octane petrol has increased by 5.4 cents to €1.898 per litre (including VAT). The price of unleaded 95-octane petrol remains unchanged at €1.689 per litre, while diesel remains at €1.904 per litre.
The price of heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥ 1,500 litres) remains unchanged at €1.399 per litre.
The price of diesel for industrial and commercial use remains at €1.509 per litre, while that of diesel for agricultural and horticultural use remains at €1.356 per litre.
Meanwhile, LPG and propane prices also have not changed, standing at €0.687 and €0.715 per litre, respectively.
