On Monday 24 August 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported several burglaries at homes across Luxembourg in recent hours, including incidents in Helmsange and Senningerberg.
At around 17:00 on Sunday 23 August 2026, police received a report of a burglary at a detached house on Rue Pierre Hennes in Helmsange, Walferdange. According to initial information, unknown perpetrators entered the property through a garage window and searched the premises.
Police also reported a burglary at a detached house on Rue du Golf in Senningerberg. The perpetrators reportedly forced open a patio door to gain access before searching several rooms. Among the items stolen was an empty safe.
Investigations have been launched in both cases and police filed the reports.
The police also reminded residents of preventive measures available to help protect homes against burglaries.
