On Friday 11 September 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that it detected around 70 offences during the large-scale traffic checks on the A3 motorway.
The checks took place on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September 2026 near the French border and in Luxembourg-Ville areas.
Among the offences recorded, 26 drivers received fines of €250 and four penalty points for using a mobile phone while driving, while a further ten drivers were fined €49 for the improper use of their vehicle's horn.
Police also identified two drivers who were driving without a valid driving licence, seized one motorcycle and drawn official reports.
