In line with the annual tradition, winners will receive a newly designed statuette (it is currently on display in the courtyard of the Grand Théâtre), this year created by contemporary artist Patricia Lippert.

The event is supported by the City of Luxembourg (VdL) and the Grand Théâtre, as well as private partners Kinepolis, Cargolux and Agritix. The organisers underlined their long-standing partnership with VdL, noting that the Film Prize has been hosted at the Grand Théâtre for many years.

Guy Daleiden emphasised that beyond recognising excellence, the Film Prize is also about sharing culture and fostering exchange, saying: “This is what the Film Festival is about… to bring culture, delight, and a meeting of professionals”.
