On Wednesday 25 June 2025, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported that it recently received a donation from the "Velooccasiounsmaart" at Belle Etoile shopping centre.

For the fifth consecutive year, Stëmm vun der Strooss received support as part of the now traditional "Velooccasiounsmaart" (second-hand bicycle market) held at Belle Etoile.

As in previous years, and on the initiative of Belle Etoile Director Manu Konsbruck, Stëmm vun der Strooss was invited to take part in this charitable event on a voluntary basis, in collaboration with the association Catch a Smile. In return, €5 was donated to each of the two organisations for every bicycle sold. A total of €9,005 was raised through the sale of 1,801 second-hand bicycles, all of which found a new owner.

Volunteers gathered in the underground car park of Belle Etoile to receive the bicycles for sale. Stëmm vun der Strooss said it was able to count on the commitment of its internal volunteers, students and employees from several partner companies.

The official cheque presentation took place at Belle Etoile on Monday 19 May 2025, in the presence of Stëmm vun der Strooss Director Alexandra Oxacelay, who expressed her gratitude to Manu Konsbruck for his continued trust over the years.
