On Thursday 17 July 2025, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported that it recently received a €1,000 donation from the SV Werder Bremen fan club "Fischkopp deLux".

Fischkopp deLux was founded in 2022 and follows a unique concept: the club is partly run by young people and donates all of its annual income to a charitable organisation. The money raised comes mainly from membership fees and a table football tournament held in Baschleiden and attended by about 30 children and adults.

This year, the club chose to support Stëmm vun der Strooss, aiming to help those who rely on the organisation for access to food, clothing, washing facilities and medical care. At the same time, the fan club members wished to show solidarity with people who have been further marginalised in the context of the ongoing debate about the "Heescheverbuet" (begging ban), according to Stëmm vun der Strooss.

For the symbolic cheque handover, the young fan club members visited Stëmm vun der Strooss in Luxembourg-Hollerich, where Director Alexandra Oxacelay gave them a tour of the facility and expressed her gratitude for their commitment and support.
