On Thursday 5 March 2026, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported that the non-profit organisation COOPERATIONS donated it €7,000, following fundraising activities linked to the Weeltzer Dësch initiative.

Following the “Trounwiessel” (crown change) celebration on 4 October in Wiltz, where a 150 metre table symbolised cohesion and diversity on Grand Rue, the Weeltzer Dësch initiative continued its journey for a charitable cause.

On 12 and 13 December 2025, the initiative returned to Wiltz and Place Clairefontaine in Luxembourg City. COOPERATIONS organised the events with the municipality of Wiltz, the Upper-Sûre Nature Park, Brasserie Simon and Den Atelier, and sold unique items from the Wiltz event to raise funds for Stëmm vun der Strooss.

The objects on sale included hand-painted plates, created by children and seniors, pieces of the 150-metre tablecloth from the Upper-Sûre Nature Park drapery and design glasses from Brasserie Simon, decorated with the CooperationsArt Wiltz crown.

According to Stëmm vun der Strooss, the day featured music and moments of sharing around “merguez” (traditional sausage) and drinks, reflecting the festive and inclusive spirit of the Weeltzer Dësch.

The official handover of the cheque took place on Wednesday 4 March 2025 in Luxembourg-Hollerich, in the presence of Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss, and Marc Scheer representing COOPERATIONS.
