The China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ChinaLux) has announced that it is organising an event dedicated to "China's Five-Year Plan" on Wednesday 18 March 2026 at EY in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, starting at 18:00.

As China's National People's Congress opens on Thursday 5 March 2026, Beijing will present its new five-year plan for 2026 to 2030, setting out the country's priorities and policy direction for the coming years. The blueprint is expected to outline goals across a range of areas, from economic development and technological innovation to national security, environmental sustainability and social development.

The ChinaLux event will explore what the new plan may signal about China's future direction and its broader global implications.
