On Tuesday 23 September 2025, the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) announced the renaming of its flagship annual event, European Microfinance Week, to Inclusive Finance 25 (IF25).
According to e-MFP, the rebrand marks the next chapter in the evolution of one of the world’s leading gatherings on financial inclusion. This year’s edition will take place at the Neumünster Abbey (neimënster) in Luxembourg-Grund from Wednesday 12 to Friday 14 November 2025.
For nearly two decades, European Microfinance Week has brought together leaders, innovators and changemakers in microfinance and financial inclusion. Over time, its reach has expanded beyond microfinance - and beyond Europe. The new name, Inclusive Finance 25, reflects this broader vision of a global platform for dialogue and collaboration in inclusive finance, according to e-MFP.
“For almost twenty years, European Microfinance Week has brought together leaders, innovators and changemakers in financial inclusion. But our conversations, partnerships and impact have grown far beyond microfinance and Europe. IF25 marks the next chapter - a name that reflects our inclusive global vision for the future,” stated Christoph Pausch, e-MFP Executive Secretary.
