The Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC) has announced that its athletes will take part in the UCI Para-cycling Road World Cup in Gistel (Belgium) from Tuesday 28 April to Friday 1 May 2026.
In the time trial on Tuesday, Carlos Neves and Paul Kremer (MH4, handbike) will compete over two laps (20.4 km), while Amsal Redzepovic (MT2, tricycle) will race over one lap (10.2 km). In the road race on Thursday, Redzepovic will complete three laps (30.6 km), while Neves and Kremer will compete over six laps (61.2 km).
The LPC athletes previously competed in events in Heusden-Zolder (Belgium) earlier in April as part of their preparation for the World Cup.
“This competition represents an important stage in the international calendar and an opportunity for the athletes to compete against the world’s elite,” stated LPC.
