Luxembourg non-profit organisation Citizens for Ecological Learning and Living (CELL) has announced the Stop Ecocide festival “Voices for the Planet”, set to take place at Kass-Haff farm near Rollingen/Mersch on Saturday 5 July 2025.

In collaboration with Jubilate Musica and Kass-Haff, the festival will feature interdisciplinary workshops, artistic performances and interactive information stands for the whole family.

The awareness-raising day on the theme of ecocide will conclude at 19:00 (doors) with the concert “Let’s Change the Rules”, which will bring together 300 choristers from Luxembourg.

The concert is inspired by the international project “Choirs for Ecocide Law”, a Scandinavian movement advocating for the recognition of mass environmental destruction as an international crime, according to the organisers.

“Genocide refers to the destruction of a national, ethnic, racial or religious group. Ecocide refers to the destruction of natural systems by human activity,” CELL stated in its festival announcement.
