The family-friendly festival Mini PICelectroNIC in the Park will take place in Parc de Bonnevoie on Sunday 19 April 2026 from 10:00.
Due to ongoing works at the Rotondes venue in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie, the “mini” edition of the annual PICelectroNIC festival will again take place on the lawns of Parc de Bonnevoie, offering a programme made up of concerts, performances and creative workshops, in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.
Completely free of charge, the event offers a programme carefully designed to appeal to both children and adults, including a hip-hop dance workshop and musical performances by Hunneg-Strëpp, Peppo Monk & The Circus, guitarist Catherine Lorent and the unusual brass band Instrumentelabo. Attendees will also have an opportunity to contribute to a giant mural created by artist Guillaumit (the designer of the event poster) and to go through what the organisers describe as “a very special car wash” on a street closed to traffic!
Workshops, as well as additional “surprises”, such as the mysterious Luusserten, will take place across Parc de Bonnevoie and its surroundings, offering fun and creatively entertaining moments for the whole family throughout the day.
Organisers Rotondes said: “More than just a question of available space, organising PICelectroNIC in the centre of Bonnevoie reflects the Rotondes’ wish to build ever stronger ties with its neighbours — who in turn respond by getting involved in the festival.”
Other items on the festival programme include DJ Ralitt taking requests and mixing from a balcony, Hannah Ida will give mini concerts in a garden and the Café de la Place by Éditions Guy Binsfeld will host a Teatime served by Betsy Dentzer and Louisa Marxen.
