The Rosport Mompach Tourist Board have announced that the fourth edition of the Rosport Wine Festival will take place on Saturday 9 May 2026, in the Town Hall Park in Rosport (9 Rue Tudor) from 14:00 until 21:00.
The event aims to showcase quality wines from the Sûre valley and to promote local wine production. The organisers also noted that, as the event coincides with the Europe Day, winegrowers from the German side of the Sûre valley will also participate in the event.
Visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines and crémants from local producers, including Fru by Georges Schiltz, Vins René Krippes and Maison Viticole Roeder, as well as wines from Weingut Fürst in Metzdorf. The association Enner Menner Layen/Klousterlayen will also present its wine from the Mindener Layen site. Ramborn Cider and Wengler Châteaux et Domaines will offer additional products for tasting.
The programme will include a short ceremony at 14:30 to mark Europe Day, followed by musical entertainment from 15:00 with the Moselle Valley Brass Band Musel Valley and Lungo & Mill.
A guided walk through traditional orchards in Born will take place at 13:30, starting near Domaine Ramborn Cider, while the Tudor Museum will host an open day with activities for children. Local producers and associations will provide food and drinks. Wine tasting will cost €10, including a tasting glass.
The festival is organised with the support of the municipality of Rosport Mompach, the Tudor Museum and the Nature Park & Geopark Mëllerdall, and is open to visitors interested in discovering the wines and heritage of the Sûre valley.
