Organisers, Gemeng Reckeng op der Mess, have announced that the 2026 edition of free musical festival “Messtival” will take place in Reckange-sur-Mess on Saturday 9 May 2026.
Messtival is a family-friendly and accessible festival and its 2026 edition will feature live concerts, artistic performances and creative workshops, as well as children’s activities as part of a day dedicated to inclusion and diversity.
Acts confirmed for the main stage include key Luxembourg performers Maz Universe, De Läb, Mutiny On The Bounty and TUYS.
To aid access and mobility for those wishing to attend, a free shuttle will run throughout the municipality during the day, providing easy access to the festival site.
Celebrating the festival’s five year anniversary, the organisers said: “Messtival returns with an even richer and more dynamic edition, turning Reckange-sur-Mess into a platform for artistic and cultural exchange.”
Main stage lineup:
• Maz Univerze – a key figure of Luxembourg’s urban scene, blending rap, metal, emo and strong stage presence into powerful and engaging performances;
• De Läb – an iconic Luxembourgish hip-hop group combining humour with sharp social commentary;
• Mutiny On The Bounty – intense instrumental post-rock band with international recognition;
• TUYS - indie pop four-piece with a modern, cinematic sound, blending catchy melodies, atmospheric synths and strong live energy for immersive performances;
• Morfaz – DJ delivering dynamic, geeky and immersive sets, mixing urban and electronic sounds to energise the crowd;
• Marcy – modern pop with a sensitive and catchy universe;
• Blame Emeraude – an alternative project between pop and electro;
• The Rot – local artist from Reckange with raw energy and rock influences.
