On the evening of Saturday 27 June 2026, the second edition of the Afrobeats Music Festival took place at the Centre Culturel Cessange in Luxembourg-Cessange.

The event, aimed at promoting integration, diversity, reinforcing peace, love and unity among different nationals in the Grand Duchy, welcomed around 70 guests, who enjoyed a mix of entertainment from a variety of live artists and DJs throughout the evening.

During the first part of the event, attendees were able to enjoy a selection of Afro-Caribbean food and drinks from countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Togo, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast and Brazil, before the dancefloor opened and people were invited to take advantage of the rich variety of music on offer.

During the event, festival organiser, Casey Junior, addressed the attendees and said: “Afrobeat music is taking over in the world. You all know about this. But we do not have that in Luxembourg yet, so that's why we started this [festival] in Luxembourg. It is the second edition and people are happy to see this in Luxembourg.”

The organisers confirmed that a third edition of the Afrobeats Music Festival will take place in 2027, at a new venue which will be announced nearer the time of the event.
