On Wednesday 28 May 2025, fundcraft announced that Luxembourg-based venture capital (VC) firm Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital has gone live on the fundcraft digital fund operations solution with its newly launched DefenceTech fund, focused on early-stage European innovation in the defence sector.
In parallel, the firm has completed the migration of its existing Luxembourg fund structures to fundcraft, consolidating its alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) and Central Administration operations on a single digital solution. The migration was completed in three months following fundcraft's structured migration framework. The firm said this consolidation "enables scalable, compliant execution and a more seamless investor experience for its 80+ LPs [limited partners] across all funds".
"We don't just invest in technology, we operate like a tech firm ourselves. Fundcraft's digital platform, product-first approach and strong service delivery are fully aligned with how we want to run our fund operations," noted Laurent Hengesch, Founding Partner at Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital. "We see fundcraft as a long-term strategic partner as we continue to scale and innovate across fund strategies."
"The partnership with Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital further reinforces our leadership in digital fund operations for Luxembourg-domiciled VC funds," said Julien de Mayer, founder and CEO of fundcraft, a Luxembourg-based provider of end-to-end digital fund operations for the alternative asset management industry. "We're proud to provide the infrastructure that enables high-performing managers to scale their strategies, whether they are launching new funds or migrating away from legacy providers."
Of the more than 220 Luxembourg-domiciled funds currently operated on the fundcraft platform, more than 150 were successfully migrated from incumbent service providers, according to fundcraft.
