On Wednesday 12 November 2025, Deloitte Luxembourg announced the launch of its new Digital Asset Accelerator Centre (DA2C), dedicated to accelerating the institutional adoption of digital assets and distributed ledger technology (DLT) across Europe.
The new Centre of Excellence aims to strengthen Luxembourg’s position as a European leader in digital asset innovation. Building on Luxembourg’s distinctive legal, regulatory and market infrastructure strengths, DA2C will support financial institutions, market infrastructures and fintechs in designing, launching and scaling digital asset use cases, including tokenised financial instruments and crypto assets.
According to Deloitte, Luxembourg has established itself as a leading European hub for digital asset innovation, offering a legal framework and attracting major industry players to the region.
DA2C’s mission is structured around three pillars, including: promoting a European vision for digital assets and DLT in line with the European Commission’s digital strategy; serving as an activation hub within the Luxembourg ecosystem by fostering collaboration among key stakeholders; supporting stakeholders in their digital transformation with compliant end-to-end digital solutions.
Laurent Collet, Partner - Digital Assets and DLT at Deloitte Luxembourg, said: “Institutional clients are ready to move from pilots to production but require a safe, regulated and interoperable path. The DA2C brings together Deloitte’s expertise in strategy, regulation, risk and technology, alongside Luxembourg’s unique ecosystem, to unlock efficiency, liquidity and new opportunities in a responsible way.”
Thomas Campione, Director at Deloitte Luxembourg and DA2C initiative leader, stated: “As global financial centres gather speed in their transition towards DLT and digital asset-based models, our ambition is to fast-track our clients’ journey so that they can pivot with confidence, calibrate their risk posture appropriately and strengthen their competitive edge.”
DA2C aims to combine strategic, regulatory and technological expertise to deliver measurable outcomes and support digital asset innovation. It also aims to promote industry dialogue through initiatives such as the Deloitte Digital Assets Conference in March 2026 to develop insights and proofs of concept that support informed decisions and faster market entry.
