Luxembourg’s Golf Team Finishes 18th at European Men’s Club Trophy

From Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 October 2025, Golf-Club Grand-Ducal represented Luxembourg at the European Men’s Club Trophy held in Bordeaux, France, following their victory in the national interclub championship.

The Luxembourg team comprised Lenny Mines, Jens Buch and Nicolas Winandy, under the guidance of coach Michaël Altmeyer.

Lenny Mines delivered the strongest performance among the Luxembourg representatives, recording rounds of 77, 77 and 71 to finish 33rd in the individual standings among 66 competitors. His teammate Nicolas Winandy followed closely in 36th place with scores of 77, 76 and 73.

In the team classification, Golf-Club Grand-Ducal finished eighteenth out of 23 participating clubs, with a total score of +19 (445) over three rounds. The result reflected consistent play from all three team members, whose best two scores per round contributed to the overall total.

Smørum Golfklub (Denmark) won the 2025 European Men’s Club Trophy at Cabot Bordeaux, finishing the 50th edition of the tournament with a total score of 414.
