On Friday 20 November 2026, the European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL) in Kirchberg will host the first Moovijob Skills Day, a large-scale event dedicated to employment, training and career development in the Grand Duchy organised as part of the Moovijob Week Luxembourg.

According to Moovijob.com, the event aims to connect the public with training providers and organisations across Luxembourg, at a time when career paths are evolving rapidly and acquiring new skills is becoming increasingly important throughout working life. The first edition of the Skills Day is organised with the support of the Institut National pour le Développement de la Formation Professionnelle Continue (INFPC).

Moovijob.com noted that the digitalisation of jobs, changing employer expectations and the growing desire to retrain or specialise are making

training a key issue in today’s labour market. It says the Skills Day will give visitors the opportunity to explore the wide range of training opportunities available in Luxembourg and speak directly with training centres, schools, institutions, specialised organisations and companies that provide training for their own employees. INFPC will also be showcasing lifelong-learning.lu, the national lifelong learning portal, at its stand. As a leading digital platform dedicated to skills development, the portal provides information and services for both individuals and businesses.

Around twenty companies and training organisations are expected to take part in this first edition, reflecting the growing interest in upskilling and career transitions.

“Since its creation, Moovijob.com’s strength has been its ability to adapt to the changing needs and demands of the labour market. It therefore felt only natural to create this new day dedicated to highlighting continuous professional training. This new concept will help answer the many questions currently facing both companies and employees,” explained Yannick Frank, Director of Moovijob.com.

“Training and skills development are key to addressing the changes taking place in the labour market. As a public service dedicated to lifelong learning, INFPC is committed to facilitating access to training and supporting skills development. This day will provide an opportunity to discover the training opportunities available in Luxembourg, the financial support available, and all the information needed to turn a training project into reality,” said Cathia Gromczyk, Director of INFPC.

The event is free to attend and open to everyone. Moovijob.com said the Skills Day is aimed at business leaders, as well as jobseekers and employees looking to progress in their careers, explore a new professional path, or develop new skills. The event reflects Moovijob.com’s commitment to creating events that respond to the realities of today’s labour market and the needs of both candidates and employers.
