According to the LCGB trade union, Fries Construction Promotion Immobilière (FCPI) S.à.rl., a fire protection system supplier located in Mondorf-les-Bains, recently declared bankruptcy.
Following the announcement earlier this week of the bankruptcy filing of FCPI S.à.r.l., the LCGB expressed its concern over the fate of the company’s 40 employees. The trade union also said that it was worried about the consequences of this bankruptcy for the company's suppliers and customers.
For the LCGB, the most important thing is to ensure that employees can receive late payments and compensation related to bankruptcy as quickly as possible. At the same time, the trade union has said that it will assist employees in drawing up their declarations of claims and in their procedures for finding a new job.
A first meeting on the exact steps to follow already took place on Tuesday 8 March 2022 at the LCGB headquarters.
The LCGB has invited all employees concerned to contact the trade union organisation.
