On Friday 27 March 2026, BGL BNP Paribas announced new appointments effective Wednesday 1 April 2026.
Fernand Lepage has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will join the Executive Committee of BGL BNP Paribas. He will succeed Philippe Pedrotti, who has been appointed COO of BNL BNP Paribas in Italy.
Séverine Campagne will succeed Fernand Lepage as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and will join the bank's Executive Committee.
Markus Stegmann will become Head of Retail Banking Luxembourg and will report to Nicolas Otton, Chairman of the Executive Committee of BGL BNP Paribas and Head of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg. He will succeed Romain Girst, who is retiring.
Cyrielle Piezanowski has been appointed Head of Marketing and Communications. She will report to Nicolas Otton, Chairman of the Executive Committee of BGL BNP Paribas and Head of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg, while maintaining close ties with the bank's business lines.
Nicolas Otton, Chairman of the Executive Committee of BGL BNP Paribas and Head of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg, thanked both Romain Girst and Philippe Pedrotti for their commitment, adding that: "Together with their teams, Fernand, Séverine, Markus and Cyrielle are fully committed to continuing the trajectory begun in recent years and further strengthening our commitment to our clients."
