Kultopolis has announced that French actor Pierre Richard will take to the stage for an evening of cinema, live music and storytelling at Artikuss in Soleuvre on Friday 9 October 2026.
Joined by The Swingin' Affair Quartet, Richard will share anecdotes from his film career, including memories of working with figures such as Bertrand Blier, Jean Carmet and Gérard Depardieu, while the musicians reinterpret iconic film soundtracks through jazz-inspired arrangements.
The performance also brings together Pierre Richard and his son, Olivier Richard, celebrating their shared passion for cinema and music. The quartet will perform a range of styles, from swing and cool jazz to bossa nova, giving famous film themes a fresh new sound.
The Swingin' Affair Quartet features Olivier Defays (alto and tenor saxophone, flute), Philippe Chagne (tenor saxophone, bass clarinet and clarinet), Philippe Petit (organ) and Sylvain Glévarec (drums and whistle).
