On Monday 2 November 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that a 38-year-old driver has died following a road traffic incident in Lintgen.
According to the police, at around 07:00 on Monday 2 November, they were notified of a serious road traffic accident on Route de Fischbach in Lintgen.
The 38-year-old driver was still inside the vehicle when emergency services arrived and was unresponsive.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known. The police technical investigation unit has been tasked with establishing how the accident occurred.
The road was closed for the duration of the emergency response.
