Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in diesel and heating fuel prices.
As of Tuesday 24 March 2026, the price of diesel has risen by 7.1 cents to €2.077 per litre and heating oil has risen by 7.2 cents to €1.532 per litre (including VAT).
Diesel for industrial and commercial use and diesel for agricultural and horticultural use has also risen by 7.0 and 7.1 cents to €1.632 and €1.480 per litre, respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of unleaded 98 octane petrol remains unchanged at €1.874 per litre, with unleaded 95 octane petrol steady at €1,727 per litre. Prices for LPG and propane are also unaffected, currently standing at 97.3 and 99.5 cents per litre, respectively.
Fuel prices have surged in several countries in recent weeks amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
