Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in certain fuel prices effective from Wednesday 20 May 2026.
The price of unleaded 95-octane petrol has increased by 3.0 cents to €1.854 per litre (including VAT), while diesel prices have risen by 7.5 cents to €1.890 per litre.
Heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥ 1 500 litres) now costs €1.332 per litre, up by 7.8 cents. Prices for diesel for industrial and commercial use and diesel for agricultural and horticultural use have both increased by 7.5 cents to €1.446 and €1.293 per litre respectively.
Meanwhile, prices for LPG fuel and propane remain unchanged.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent weeks amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
