On Wednesday 4 November 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) and the Roads and Bridges Administration announced that Rue des Glacis will be closed between Côte d’Eich and Rue des Roses from Saturday 7 November at 07:00 until Monday 9 November at 05:30 due to road resurfacing works.
The works will involve the renewal of the road surface.
The following changes will apply to public transport for the duration of the works:

Bus routes 3, 4 and 33 will be diverted via Côte d’Eich.

The stops Alen Eecher Bierg, Kiischtewee, Theater and Fondation Pescatore will be suspended and replaced by the stops Crispinus and Badanstalt.

At the stops Badanstalt Quai 1 and Badanstalt Quai 2, buses on route 3 will continue their journey on route 30, and vice versa.

Bus route 19 towards Strassen, Oricher-Hoehl will be diverted via Avenue du Bois. The stops Kiischtewee Quai 1, Belle-Vue and Arts et Métiers will be suspended.
The City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department confirmed it will ensure that appropriate signage is installed.
