The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced the unveiling of a new sculpture outside the Lëtzebuerg City Museum in Luxembourg-Ville (14 Rue du St Esprit).

The sculpture, by artists Bruno Baltzer and Leonora Bisagno, is titled “Sur les épines” (On the thorns) and is displayed on the external wall of the museum, on the Corniche side.

According to the VDL, the artwork is 260cm high, 252cm deep and weighs approximately 500kg. The sculpture was cast and assembled by the Fonderia d'arte Del Giudice Leonardo di Del Giudice Giacomo e Sarah, in Strada in Chianti near Florence (Italy).

Access to the site is free and available to the public during the museum’s opening hours.
