Luxembourg indie folk/pop duo Riverflow has announced their newly released debut album Next to the Trees, ahead of a launch concert that will take place on Friday 4 July 2026 at Sang a Klang in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal.

Consisting of singer Mylène Hilbert and songwriter and guitarist Laurent Hild, Riverflow describes the nine-track album as “a diverse and authentic work” that combines indie folk, pop and acoustic influences while exploring everyday themes through contrasting moods and musical styles.

The duo explained that the album marks a departure from the minimalist acoustic sound of their 2023 EP, Daydream, with a broader and more layered production. According to Riverflow, the album was recorded entirely by musicians using an "old-school" approach, without plugins or post-production smoothing, with the aim of preserving an authentic sound.

The title track Next to the Trees, was released as the album's first single on 24 April 2026, followed by Cup of Tea on 22 May 2026.

Riverflow noted that the project grew out of earlier releases under Mylène's name, including Kryptonite and Daydream, which received radio airplay in Luxembourg before the duo adopted a shared artistic identity under the name Riverflow.

The album launch concert will take place at Sang a Klang on Friday 4 July, with doors opening at 19:00 and the performance starting at 20:00.

Luxembourg artist Rozeen will perform as the support act. Tickets cost €10 and will be available at the door only.
