The Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) has announced a special evening of Indian classical music featuring the Banaras Brothers, set to take place at Neumünster Abbey's (neimënster) in Luxembourg-Grund on Sunday 27 September 2026 from 17:30 to 20:00.
Anshuman Maharaj and Pandit Vibhash Maharaj will perform on sarod and tabla respectively, presenting music from the Banaras Gharana tradition, which the organisers noted has been carried through six generations.
Entitled Banaras Brothers - A Musical Conversation, the concert will feature raga, rhythm and improvisation, bringing the musical traditions of Banaras to Luxembourg as part of the musicians' European tour.
Tickets cost €24 for general admission and €20 for IAL members, while entrance is free for IAL lifetime members.
