Trains Between Kautenbach, Wiltz Suspended Due to Technical Issue

Shortly after 12:40 on Monday 15 September 2025, Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, reported that trains on the Kautenbach–Wiltz line are currently disrupted due to a technical fault.

According to the CFL, a technical fault with the overhead lines on the route currently prevents trains from running in both directions between Kautenbach and Wiltz.


The CFL noted that the fault appears to have resulted from adverse weather conditions and maintenance teams are currently on-site to assess and fix the problem.

To allow passengers to continue their journey, the CFL has arranged for a replacement bus service to operate between Kautenbach and Wiltz in both directions. The buses run directly between the two stations.
