On Tuesday 27 May 2025, Wolt Luxembourg announced that it is launching a partnership with online supermarket Luxcaddy for "ultra-fast" grocery delivery to customers' homes in Luxembourg.
With more than 5,000 grocery products now available in the Wolt app, including fresh produce, pantry staples, snacks, beverages and household essentials, customers now have the option of having their groceries delivered directly to their homes in under an hour (within 30 to 45 minutes, according to Wolt).
"This is a product our users have been asking for, and we're thrilled to finally deliver it - quite literally," said Tomás Etcheverry, General Manager at Wolt Luxembourg. "Luxcaddy brings the selection and quality of a trusted local grocer, and Wolt brings the speed and convenience of (almost) instant delivery. It’s a perfect match."
The launch of Luxcaddy on Wolt was reportedly met with "immediate enthusiasm": the first customer order came through just ten minutes after going live, according to Wolt Luxembourg. The "online supermarket in your pocket" is open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 21:00 and offers deliveries to most of Luxembourg.
"Thanks to the Wolt platform, we now offer an option for delivery in under one hour," explained Romain Putz, owner of Luxcaddy. "We continue to provide the Luxcaddy experience across Luxembourg - fast, fresh and affordable. We are starting with 5,000 products, prioritising local items, and aim to increase to 8,000 by the end of the year, including seasonal and non-food products."
With this partnership, Wolt noted it continues to evolve beyond restaurant delivery. In addition to groceries, Wolt customers can already order home delivery of toys, pet food and supplies, flowers, fresh meats and deli, as well as beer and fine wines.
