On Monday 16 September 2025, the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) announced the recall of Notre Jardin brand Frozen Peas & Carrots due to the possible presence of wood and glass-like foreign bodies.
The following product has been recalled: Frozen Peas & Carrots, 1 kg, with the barcode: 3564700005699; use-by date: 31 May 2027; lot number: L5126B1.
The product has been on sale in various stores across Luxembourg.
There is currently an orange awareness level alert in place (i.e. medium risk/danger).
ALVA warned that, if ingested, foreign bodies such as wood or glass pose a risk of suffocation or internal injuries.
