POST Luxembourg has announced it will issue four new special stamps on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 September 2025.

On Thursday, POST Luxembourg will issue the third Luxembourg crypto stamp. As in previous years, a similar motif will be issued simultaneously in other countries with which POST Luxembourg collaborates on crypto stamps.

This year's theme is Greek mythology. Artemis, goddess of the hunt and nature, adorns the Luxembourg crypto stamp and honours the richness and diversity of Luxembourg's landscapes and forests. This edition is limited to 15,000 copies. As with previous editions, the digital twins of the physical crypto stamp are available in five different colours.

On Friday, POST Luxembourg will issue three special stamps, including an embroidered "Dove of Peace" stamp. Ten international postal administrations, along with the United Nations, the Universal Postal Union and Austrian embroidery specialist Hämmerle & Vogel GmbH & Co KG, will issue a joint embroidered stamp. According to POST, the dove, a universal symbol of peace, hope and understanding, was chosen as the central motif to convey a clear message across borders: peace begins small, with each individual.

This year's Small European Postal Administration Cooperation (SEPAC) issue focuses on the architecture of the nine member countries. The Luxembourg stamp features the Hôtel des Postes, an architectural landmark of Luxembourg City, built between 1908 and 1910 according to designs by architect Sosthène Weis.

This year's traditional Stamp Day (Journée du Timbre) will take place in Rodange. The Rail Owl sculpture, a seven-metre-tall owl with feathers made of steel profiles from the Rodange factory, illustrates the special stamp issued for this occasion.

Dedicated exclusively to this new stamp issue, the September 2025 Philatelux publication lists the various stamps and provides information on their respective characteristics and designs.

The new special stamps will be available from Thursday 18 and Friday 19 September 2025 in the POST Philately online shop (www.postphilately.lu), at the Philatelic Counter (Espace POST Luxembourg-Gare) and in all Espaces POST and post offices.
