The City of Luxembourg (VdL) and the Austrian Embassy in Luxembourg have announced that the "Vienna Design" pop-up store will open at 40 Rue Philippe II in Luxembourg-Ville from Friday 2 to Thursday 29 October 2026.
The pop-up forms part of a new edition of "Vienna in Luxembourg" ("Wien in Luxemburg"), an initiative organised by the VdL and the Austrian Embassy following its first edition in 2023. The initiative aims to showcase Viennese culture and celebrate ties between Luxembourg and Vienna through a series of activities and events.
For the pop-up store, the VdL has partnered with ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA BELUX, the foreign trade promotion organisation of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, to showcase the work of three Vienna-based entrepreneurs and designers.

Vera Purtscher will present products from Vertessi, a family-run design company specialising in high-end glass and silver objects, particularly tableware. The company's products are used by restaurants internationally.
Viennese jewellery brand My Magpie, founded by industrial designer Stefanie Klausegger, will showcase pieces inspired by the Vienna Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) movement and produced using 3D-printing technologies.
Meanwhile, Beatrix Günsberg will present products from Günsberg Duftmanufaktur, a family business whose expertise has been passed down through three generations. The company specialises in home fragrances, scented candles and eau de parfum, as well as custom fragrances for businesses and special occasions.
