The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced the new "Sports for all" ("Sports pour tous") season will begin on Wednesday 1 October 2025.

This year the programme will offer more than 210 leisure, fitness and health improvement classes. Activities will run from Monday to Sunday indoors, in pools and outdoors, and will take place at more than 30 sites across the Luxembourg city.

Courses for Kids & Youth (Ages 4 to 16)

The youth programme includes around 30 activities, including: skateboarding; cycling; skating; breakdancing; zumba; gym fitness; machine-based strength training; futsal; multisports; volleyball; badminton; billiards; chess; archery; table tennis; and aikido.

Classic & Unusual Sports Activities for Adults

The programme for adults will feature more than 120 weekly classes, including: stretching; general fitness; relaxation gym; core and back gym; lunchtime gym; preventive gym; parent-and-child gym (one to four years); fitness gym; ski fitness; body shape; machine-based strength training; aquatic gymnastics; aqua jogging; aqua-cycling; hydro-gym; jogging; nordic walking; and recreational volleyball.

The adult programme will also include diverse options such as introductory curling, parent-and-child ice skating (four to eleven years), self-defence, fitness fiesta, cross fitness, taijiquan and qigong.

Senior Sports Programme (Ages 55 and over)

The senior programme offers activities adapted to the physical capacities of people aged fifty-five and over, these include: walking; nordic walking; stretching; gentle gym; seniors’ sport classes; light machine-based strength training; dance for seniors; aqua gym; ski-style gymnastics; badminton; chess; and indoor pétanque. One class per season in the seniors’ programme is offered free of charge to people aged fifty-five and over (registration is required).
