On Thursday 26 June 2025, Omega 90 asbl, the Luxembourg association for the promotion of palliative care, published its Annual Report 2024.

The report outlined a year marked by projects, collaborations and support activities that aimed to address the needs of individuals at the end of life, their relatives and those experiencing bereavement.

Omega 90 asbl reported that 2024 was a year of growing demand, during which the organisation continued to strengthen “the quality and diversity” of its services. Key figures highlighted in the report include:
- 128 patients were received at Haus Omega;
- the Consultation service carried out 4,771 support sessions, including 1,022 for children, adolescents and their relatives;
- 1,237 individuals received training through the organisation’s training service, a notable increase;
- 80 active volunteers contributed a total of 7,499 hours of support, forming a key pillar of Omega 90’s human-centred care;
- €801,000 - representing 10% of the association’s annual budget, needs to be covered through private donations.
