North Indian group Moien Bharat has announced that it will host its Deepotsav Divali celebration at Hall Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg on Saturday 25 October 2025, from 17:00 onwards.
Diwali, India's biggest and most important holiday of the year, is the Hindu festival of lights, with variations celebrated in other Indian religions. It symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.
In Luxembourg, the event is traditionally a family affair and will comprise cultural performances and music, a variety of Indian food stalls and a DJ and dance floor.
Tickets cost €10 for adults (ages twelve and over), €5 for children (ages six to eleven), while entry is free for infants (ages five and under).
