Casino 2000 has announced it will host a British pop-folk singer Charlie Winston concert on Saturday 28 February 2026 from 20:00, in the Chapito Room at its premises in Mondorf-les-Bains.
The concert will mark one of the first dates of Charlie Winston’s new tour and will feature the singer’s popular singles alongside tracks from his latest album, “Love Isn’t Easy”, released at the end of 2025, which “blends humour, emotion and energy”.
Born in England, Charlie Winston grew up in a family of musicians and developed an early passion for guitar and singing. After first performing with the British band The Herbaliser, he launched his solo career in 2007 with the album “Make Way”, which introduced him to a wider audience. He has since sold more than two million records and toured worldwide.
According to the organisers his “distinctive blend of folk, pop, and subtle electronic touches” quickly attracted fans, with tracks such as Like a Hobo, which reached number one in France in 2009, and Kick the Bucket helping to establish his signature sound.
Across his albums, from “Hobo” (certified gold in France) to Square 1 via Curio City, Winston has explored a wide range of sounds while always staying true to his signature style: a singular voice, and an instinctive sense of melody. In 2022, he made a strong impression with As I Am, created in collaboration with Vianney, an introspective record born from the need to open up after the pandemic.
