The European Parliament in Luxembourg has announced the temporary exhibition “Wiele wat mir sinn” (“Choosing Who We Are”), running from 26 January to 9 April 2026 at the Europa Experience Luxembourg in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

Organised by the Zentrum fir politesch Bildung (Centre for Political Education) and the Chamber of Deputies, the exhibition invites the public to learn more about elections, political participation and democratic engagement in Luxembourg.

Through historical contexts and concrete examples, the exhibition traces the evolution of democracy in Luxembourg from the nineteenth century to the present day. It focuses in particular on voting rights, including censitary suffrage before 1918, the introduction of universal suffrage and the societal debates that continue to surround elections today, the organisers noted.

Free guided tours are scheduled for Monday 2 March 2026 (in Luxembourgish) and Tuesday 24 March 2026 (in French), both from 12:30 to 13:30.

The exhibition is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00. Visitors must bring a valid identity document.
