Natur&ëmwelt Asbl has announced that the charity event “E Laf fir d’Natur – Run for Nature” will take place on Sunday 3 May 2026 in Kockelscheuer.

According to the association, the event focuses on sharing an experience in nature rather than competition. There is no timing: the aim is to exercise outdoors, become more aware of the environment and send a strong message in favour of biodiversity protection.

Participants can choose between 5 km and 10 km runs, while a 5 km walking route is also planned. A children’s nature run of approximately one kilometre will take place in the morning, alongside nature-themed workshops supervised by environmental educators.

Programme:

  • 10:00: Kids-Naturlaf (children’s run, 1 km)
  • 10:25: Walking
  • 10:45: 5 km and 10 km runs

All events will start and finish at the “Haus vun der Natur” in Kockelscheuer.

New for 2026, the event will also include a digital participation format, allowing individuals or groups to take part throughout the month of May.

Participation costs €15 (digital ticket), while the one kilometre children’s run is free of charge.

Proceeds from the event will go towards natur&ëmwelt’s conservation projects aimed at preserving biodiversity in Luxembourg.
