LuxairTours today released their 2015/16 Winter Brochure which, following the success of the company's Finnish Lapland route to Rovaniemi last year, will be offering further flights to the region, as well as 3 day stays in Iceland.
LuxairTours launched their Lapland destination in July 2014, offering passengers a 3 day trip including a meeting with the Sami people, a dog sled ride and a visit to Santa's Village as well as the option of booking additional activities such as snowmobile rides and snowshoe excursions. Back by popular demand, four flights to Rovaniemi will be available to book for the month of February, with this year's trip comprising three nights rather than two. Activities on offer will include sleigh rides as well as ice fishing and carving.
The success of the company's Scandinavian destinations also prompted an entirely new itinerary for this year to Iceland, the 'Land of Fire and Ice', where passengers are invited to combine an exploration of the nature of the 'Golden Circle' with an escape into the beauty of the urbna capital Reykjavik. This region in the south-west of the island contains beautiful natural sites dotted with magnificant waterfalls and Thingvellir National Park, an immense volcanic plain in the heart of a valley cracked by the forces of nature. LuxairTours offers offers an exclusive 4 day tour to Iceland and 3 flights to Reykjavik in March 2016. The programme will also include optional activiites and the chance for an evening meal in a unique place.
LuxairTours has also proposed two flights a week to Spain, to the Costa del Sol on Tuesday and Saturday and to Majorca on Wednesday and Saturday, allowing visitors to enjoy the Spanish sun for a long weekend or for a few days during the week. Passengers will be able to visit the many cultural sites of Málaga, whilst staying in one of the Tours' two new hotels in the heart of the city, or book the new coach tour 'The Discovery of Andalusia'. Clients may additionally stay at one of their new resorts, Cala Mayor and Paguera, or at one of a range of new hotels including the Grupotel in Playa de Palma. The AIDAstella in Palma will also be available to LuxairTours passengers to board for a cruise along the shores of the Mediterranean.
In all, there are forty new hotels to discover for the new winter season. In Gran Canaria, there is the family-friendly Hotel Taurito Princess and in Lanzarote the Relaxia Lansazur Club bungalow complex, complete with water park. For a more tranquil vacation, 'Adults Only' hotels are also available, including the H10 Big Sur Boutique-Hotel in Tenerife, the Sensimar Royal Palm Resort & Spa in Fuerteventura, and the H10 Timanfaya Palace in Lanzarote. In addition, Gran Canaria and Tenerife flights will be available three times a week and hotels in the Canary Islands may already be booked for the Easter holidays.
Trips to North Africa have also made a return to the LuxairTours itinerary, with the all-inclusive offer at the Aqua Mirage Club in Marrakech, which contains the largest water park in the country, and the Hotel Club Riu Tikida Dunas in Agadir, which has been entirely renovated.
