Luxembourg's Klima-Agence has announced eight upcoming regional conferences on climate and energy transition measures and national financial aid, taking place across Luxembourg from Wednesday 14 October to Wednesday 9 December 2026.

According to Klima-Agence, many households are seeking to improve the energy performance of their homes, reduce their consumption, use renewable energy and control their costs in response to the challenges of the climate and energy transition. To support them in their projects, the agency is organising a series of information sessions across the country dedicated to renewable energy, heating, insulation and electromobility.

These meetings will allow citizens to gain a better understanding of the available solutions and learn about the subsidies available under the Klimabonus aid schemes of Luxembourg's Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity.

Klima-Agence noted that during the conferences organised in Luxembourg City (14 October), Dudelange (21 October) and Mersch (9 December), participants will also have the opportunity to speak with the Minister of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, Serge Wilmes, who will take part in these information evenings.

“The energy transition is a collective mission. With Klimabonus, we want to provide concrete support to citizens who wish to invest in more energy-efficient housing, reduce their energy bills and thereby contribute to climate protection. Every project counts: it is the sum of these individual commitments that makes it possible to accelerate the energy transition and generate a lasting impact on the climate,” said Minister Wilmes.

Klima-Agence experts will address, in particular:

  • the solutions available to improve the energy performance of a home and contribute to climate protection;
  • the financial aid available under the Klimabonus scheme;
  • the main stages of preparing and carrying out a project;
  • the steps to take before getting started.

The advice provided by Klima-Agence is independent and free of charge. It allows individuals to better define their projects, identify the first steps to take and learn about the financial aid for which they may be eligible.

All sessions will begin at 18:30 and will be held in Luxembourgish, with simultaneous interpretation into French and English.
