Details: Den Atelier have announced details of the production of Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show which is coming to the Grand Duchy next year.
Three performances will take place from 27 February to 1 March 2015 at Rockhal in Esch-Belval (performances in English).
Michel Welter of Den Atelier explained that he aims at putting one one major family entertainment production each year: last year it was We Will Rock You in April, and this year sees Notre Dame de Paris, the musical, from 28-30 March (just a few tickets are left), as well as Ennio Morricone on 9 April.
Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show has been seen by over 20 million people worldwide. It mixes burlesque and glam rock, bringing together the charm of B-movies. It includes many timeless tracks, including the immortal Time Warp and Sweet Transvestite.
The production includes an established actor from each country in which it performs, as the Narrator; in Luxembourg, the role has been assigned to Serge Tonnar.
Featuring such characters as Brad Majors, Janet Weiss and Dr. Frank'n'Furter, the story tells the tale of a young married couple come across animalistic aliens from the planet Transexual and experience simplicity and excess, debauchery and decency, noise and righteousness, engines and ecstasy...
