On Wednesday 21 January 2026, the second day of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden met with a variety of heads of state and business leaders at the event in Davos-Klosters (Switzerland).

These included Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Dick Schoof and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Bart De Wever, Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajić and Prime Minister of Palestine Mohammed Mustafa. 

Prime Minister Frieden was also pictured with Tim Cook, Managing Director of Apple, Cristiano R Amon, president and CEO of Qualcomm and Michelle Zatlyn, co-founder, president and CEO of Cloudflare.

The WEF Annual Meeting is a high-level international gathering that brings together Heads of State, government representatives, business leaders, central bankers, international organisations and academics to discuss global economic conditions and strategic challenges for the year ahead.

The event, organised by non-profit foundation the World Economic Forum, will conclude on Friday 23 January 2026.
