The Maison du Grand-Duc have announced that Grand Duke Henri will attend the 145th session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Italy, in February 2026.
According to the Maison du Grand-Duc, in his capacity as a member of the IOC, Grand Duke Henri will attend the International Olympic Committee in Milan, Italy, from Sunday 2 February to Tuesday 4 February and on Saturday 22 February 2026.
Grand Duke Henri will also attend the opening ceremony of the 25th Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan on Friday 6 February and will return for the closing ceremony at the Verona Arena on Saturday 22 February 2026.
During the Games, Grand Duke Henri will visit several competition venues, meet with Luxembourg athletes and their respective delegations, as well as representatives of the Luxembourg Olympic and Sporting Committee (COSL) to show his support and acknowledge their commitment at the highest international level.
