On Monday 19 May 2025, Luxembourg's Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture confirmed that Luxembourg crémants won a total of eleven gold medals at the 34th edition of the Concours National des Crémants de la France et du Luxembourg.
The annual competition, which took place in Beaune, France, highlights the best sparkling wines from France and Luxembourg. This year the jury judged entries across several categories: Blanc Brut; Rosé Brut; Cuvée Millésimée; and Cuvées Spéciales. The jury awarded crémants from the Luxembourg Moselle region eleven gold and six silver medals.
The gala dinner at the award ceremony saw Luxembourg’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture, Martine Hansen, received a bottle of crémant on behalf of the Fonds de Solidarité Viticole, which will be responsible for organising the next edition of the competition.
In April 2026, all of France's Crémant-producing regions will meet in the Luxembourg Moselle region to celebrate the 35th edition of the competition, an occasion which also coincides with the 35th anniversary of Crémant de Luxembourg.
