Statistics portal STATEC and the Service Information et Presse branch of the government today released the results of their collaboration - 'Luxembourg 2015', a series of 14 computerised graphics designed to visually provide information on the Grand Duchy.
The idea behind 'Luxembourg 2015' is to present the country in a new way, to offer facts with more fun. The 14 images cover a range of topics all related to the Grand Duchy, from the subject of the multicultural population, detailing the 563,000 inhabitants of Luxembourg made up of around 170 different nationalities; to the economic sector which explains the GDP per capita to be €83,000.
Other topics include national symbols, the labour market, culture and traditions, languages, quality of life, politics and institutions, mobility, Luxembourg in the world and the history of the Grand Duchy. The sheets will be updated annually.
