Luxembourg's weather portal MeteoLux has issued a weather warning for high temperatures across the Grand Duchy on Saturday 9 September 2023.
The yellow heat warning ("potential danger") will apply for all of Luxembourg from 14:00 to 19:00 on Saturday. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 30 °C and 32 °C.
A yellow ozone alert will be in place across the country from 12:00 to midnight on Saturday. During this period, ozone levels in the air may exceed the pre-information threshold of 160 µg/m3.
These warnings are in addition to the yellow alerts in place on Friday 8 September 2023 for high temperatures in southern Luxembourg (14:00-19:00) and for ozone levels across the Grand Duchy (12:00-midnight).
