The Grand Ducal Police have announced that police patrols carried out a large-scale check on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 May 2024 in the Luxembourg-Gare district.
Between 16:30 and 02:30 on Thursday and on Friday, the Grand Ducal Police carried out a large-scale check with the main focus on combating drug-related crime.
A suspected drug dealer was arrested in the act as part of this check.
Furthermore, hashish, a ball of cocaine, cash and a mobile phone were seized from the individuals checked. In two cases, a foreigner’s offence report was drawn up.
A total of sixteen police officers were involved in the check.
