On Wednesday 8 May 2024, the Grand Ducal Police announced that fourteen-year-old Charlène Loux has been missing since Monday afternoon.
The missing girl was described as being around 1.60 m tall and of slim build. She has long brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a long black jacket, black and white VANS trainers (sneakers) and a silver necklace with a cross pendant.
The police noted she was last seen on Monday 6 May 2024 at around 14:00, near the Lycée Privé Fieldgen in Luxembourg. She often goes to Luxembourg-Ville, according to the police report.

Update: The Grand Ducal Police confirmed on Friday 10 May 2024 that the missing person in question had been found safe on Thursday night.
